US government works to stop commodity-driven deforestation

The Obama Administration is working to reduce commodity-driven deforestation through the Tropical Forest Alliance 2020 (TFA 2020), a public-private partnership in which members take voluntary actions, individually and collaboratively, to reduce tropical deforestation associated with the sourcing of commodities such as palm oil, soy, beef, paper, and pulp.
